hello
Hey what happened to the RT132?
meh,
all those codes i put in off the top of my head. thought there would be some missing.
is it BW??
hello
yep, bw, 3.9:1 xt130/rt132, maybe smae diff for other toyotas
KE20L -74 Euro spec rear axle code: B092 saying 145mm(on service spec catalog says 6.25" tho..?) (not U-series 6") 4.222 ratio with open center.
On KE26 ratio is 4.444 all ke20 series 2-pinions
referring to master catalog allso 4.3 and 4.555 have been available.
The U series might been pre -74 ones. KE series chassis book dated to -74 says axle is 6" so mine -74 is downrated version (or wtf?)
KE30R KE35R and KE36R 6" and 4.300 and 4.556 ratios 2-pinions
TE3# series 6.38" 4.100 and 4.300 ratios 4-pinions
TE37L and TE47R 6.7" 4.300 ratio 2-pinions
TE
On KE70 euro spec axle is NOT borg warner.
TE71 Axle is S-series 4-pinions(allso 2-pinion version found)
TE71 GT 2T-G engined axle is T-series(same as T18?)

As to info on XT-130 And RT-132 diff codes, the XT-130 runs the plastic Borg Warner diff and the RT-132 possibly runs either E series or T as this is a Jap import vehicle. If unsure there should be plenty ppl out there that owns a Liftback Corona and can check their ID plate. As to the MS55 and MS65 Crowns they both run a Holden rear end identical centre to most banjo holden rears. They never ever had Borg Warner diffs in them,Actually no Crown ever ran a Borg Warner diff from the factory unless someone has done a conversion.
Cheers Brett.

MX83 Cresida diff codes are G312 for GLX models and G315 for Grande models. Verified as I have both.
Hope this helps.
Also for a bit of trivia
Landcruisers now run a B series diff on the rear(LSD too) and A series reverse gear hilux front end. Ratios can 3.9, 4.1 or 4.3:1 depending on engine and trans. The newer B series diffs seem to be weaker than the older K series(9.5inch) diff as you would expect. Smaller diff means smaller crown and pinion teeth size. Common failure on our minesite now.
Hiluxes now run A series on the rear (LSD in 4x4 only) but am not sure if they still run the smaller diff on the now standard IFS. Ratios can 3.5, 3.7 and 4.1 depending on config possibly more.
I should have a good look at the vehicles(and the newer code style) at work because we have nearly every version of diesel Hilux and Cruiser made in the last 15 years running around.
RT132s definitely run a T series rear end. They should be the same width as a T18 T-series because the axles are 100% identical. They have drums too.Originally Posted by crowncustom

Hey, great resource!
I've got a '82 KE70 pannel van, which i'm fairly sure were all imported by toyota, model code is KE70-RG and it is running an S312 diff standard. (which was a pain sorting the tailshaft with 4age conversion!) Haven't got a width yet but it's drum, same stud pattern as AUS KE70.
Glen.
do you know the diff ratio in those things?Hey, great resource!
