I was able to buy a brand new pulley through Romac but that was a few years ago, not sure if they would still have any but It couldn't hurt to ask!
You specifically want a harmonic balancer for any reason?
All the 18r's I've had have just had a solid pulley. The number of belt provisions varies a lot for series to series.

Thanks Dave!
At this stage I am going to try to get one custom made, would rather have a dampened one for now. (I can easily have a non damped one made locally too, which I had considered with a gilmer drive)
Will keep yours in mind though!

Hi fellow 18R-G people!
I just got the quote from Nick Arias on some 92mm 11:1 comp pistons... $750 posted sounds okay me thinks compared to the other quotes.
Looking for some advice from people how have actually built an 18R-G similar to these specs...
Just wondering why people often choose 10.5:1 comp and not 11:1 comp? I plan to use 98 Octane fuel only and I'm after reliability.
Also is boring the 18RG out to 92MM safe and reliable- i.e. will it last, is it too close to the water jackets? Has anyone here done this and driven it hard for years without trouble? How does it effect the revving characteristics of the 18R-G?
Where would you recommend for sourcing all the bearings and other parts needed for for a full bottom end rebuild (already have a fully rebuilt 210 head with reground cams).
Is a metal head gasket needed or just the one supplied in the KP gasket set by Sleeka Spares, or something entirely different?
I was hoping to run a 4.3KG flywheel too. I've read about the last 15 pages where I came across this:
"The DCS Steel Billet Flywheels are made from 4340 Billet Steel and CNC machine to the tightest tolerances...
Clutch Flywheel and Parts Supplier - Delivery Australia-wide and International
Middle of Second row down.
$385 for flywheel + $85 for new ring gear (Amayama/Toyota) = New lightweight flywheel."
Is this the best value flywheel atm? What's the go with some people opting for 22R flywheels instead? What's involved in using one? Pros and cons?
The goal is 100RWKW/135RWHP. Running 44mm Solexs (can get webers or OERS), full 2.25" exhaust, 2" extractors, will run electronic dizzy.
Any advice is greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Stephen
