Well if you've got one that's already removed i'll come up and grab it one day, maybe I can take a few other bits and pieces off your hands. Ra35GT is having a poke around the shed for me also I believe.

Whats the most powerful 18rg turbo ever tuned? I know it would only be a drag or dyno queen engine but just for interest sake as I cant find it on the search. They definitely have massive potential been a better revving mini keith black head.

    Hi Guys,

I'm piecing together my 18RGEU, while this is not my first foray into 18R-G power, this is the first time i'm trying to set up an injected motor, let alone using the complete factory injection, ECU and emissions gear. I've pulled all the manifold apart and need some help identifying a few bits and pieces.

For those who need the reading glasses, left to right
Red circle - coolant lines for the throttlebody - one line goes from the manifold coolant outlet - the other goes where?
Orange circle - Positive Crankcase Ventilation port - from the PCV outlet on the cam cover to the plenum
Yellow circle - Fuel Pressure Regulator vacuum feed port
    -coldstart injector-
    Green circle - IACV port
Light blue circle - ....there was a hose that tee'd into the IACV pipe that goes here on the vacuum actuator dooflicky. This is the main thing i'm chasing more info on
Dark blue circle - I have no idea what this is for, was connected to an electronically operated vacuum solenoid, so I can only assume it's some kind of 'idle up' valve for the... air conditioning, at an educated guess? No idea where / what they should be connected to.
Purple circle - Brake booster vacuum feed.

Anyone care to fill in the fuzzy patches?

This is the vacuum solenoid that one of the light blue circled ports was connected to

    Also, the fuel injectors -

These look like they're standard kit. They sure look and feel old and weighty enough. Can anyone confirm? Also, as for re-kitting these with a set of new seals, does anyone have any suggestions as to which injectors may share similar seals (obviously with the 18RGEU not being sold locally in any kind of volume, a seal kit won't be available) so I can order a complete kit?

Any help appreciated to get this old lump ready to drop in the car

The other goes to the front steel bypass line thing that runs under the head from the thermostat housing to the water pump

This connects to the IACV supply line (for filtered air)

Dark blue circle - I have no idea what this is for, was connected to an electronically operated vacuum solenoid, so I can only assume it's some kind of 'idle up' valve for the... air conditioning, at an educated guess? No idea where / what they should be connected to.

You are correct, it is an idle up valve, triggered by A/C, small port to the vacuum switch (which connects to solenoid) the other one connects to the solenoid as the vacuum source

Purple circle - Brake booster vacuum feed.

They look like the standard ones on my car, I'd suggest trying toyodiy and looking up a corona (http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_198...EMQF_2211.html) Then giving part numbers to Amayama/Toyota to check availability etc. I just sent my injectors to a fuel injector place to get cleaned and have new seals put on, cost like $40 though).

The coolant line is there just to prevent the icing the throttle.Yes,it can freeze and stuck and factory have to consider it for safety reasons. You can leave it unconnected.

Forgot the main reason I opened this thread.

What options are there for forged rods for our beasts!?!?

(Yes, I realise it's not really required, but I figure a bit of extra insurance couldn't hurt if it isn't too exxy! and more boost is always better right??)
