Excellent.
Works much better now
I like the ability to search for all cars with a particualr diff.
Do you mind if I feed your data into my own site (ie fill in the various spots that I've missed in my model data) ?
Found a few anomalies here and there (to be expected with Toyota's willingness to chop and change).
The American spec Celica 2# was always T series diff (I only realised this a few weeks ago and haven't fully corrected it yet).
JDM and other countries swapped from D to T in Aug 1973 (or possibly July 1972, need to double check this), excepting the RA2#/3# 18R-G models which had F series diffs.
Also, the American spec MX1#/2# have E series diffs, while other counties had an F series diffs (but I'm still going through the parts manuals and expect to find a few more T and E series diffs in some JDM models).

brett_celicacoupe,
RN2X G Series diffs are 1370mm rather than 1375mm...
where did you measure from and what instrument did you measure it with??
its hard to be accurate to 5mm when your measuring 1.3m.
the difference is negligible
hello
Hub face to hub face with a Measuring Tape...
ST141 disc brake diff is 1430mm face to face and YR22 F series diff is 1435mm face to face measured with tape and straight edge
Current build of Hilux only has LSD tied to ABS option, excluding selected models (workmate 4x2 and diesel 4x2). so only SR5 4wd and 2wd, SR 4x4 w/ ABS opt.Originally Posted by MacroP
I've been searching on here and I cant find this info.
Does anyone know the diff widths (measured drum face to drum face) of:
KE10
KE20
KE30
If anyone has these diffs, can you get 2 straight edges and a tape measure and do some measuring for us please!!
I don't have the face to face measurements but I do have the track measurements (centre of right tyre to centre of left tyre).
KE10 = 1220mm
KE20 = 1245mm (Some TE27's are 1295mm)
KE30 = unknown but assumed to be the same as the very similar KE50
KE50 = 1285mm
These were taken from various brochures (US, Australia, Japan, etc) and are listed on my Corolla web page (note recent change of address).
http://www.members.iinet.net.au/~stepho/crllaprd.htm
I don't know the rim offset but if we assume 32mm offset (common at the time) then we have face to face measurements of ...
KE10 = 1284mm
KE20 = 1309mm
KE30/50 = 1349mm
If we assume 29mm rim offset (also common at the time) then we have face to face measurements of...
KE10 = 1278mm
KE20 = 1303mm
KE30/50 = 1343mm

Just so you guys know, I'm in the process of building a new laptop and once I've got all my dev tools etc installed I'll be having a look at the axle database. With any luck I'll have it back online by the weekend, if not tomorrow.
