i notice that once i get to around 4 grand the noise dosn't seem to get any lounder but when i back off (at any time) it has a lound droning noise. but i havn't had any probs with my 3in exhust with boost spiking
its wierd his sounds like its revving nowhere near as hard as mine does at the same revs...but his does drone alot more and puts out alot more volume unless u put the foot down..then mine gets louder and screams more..he has 3 inch turbo back into a cannon and ive got 2.75 cat back into a muffler

hey i have a 92 celica all trac(3sgte)...im having some problems....i did the diagnosis and it gave me 5 codes but 2 of them i cant find anywhere???in the list of codes u can find online 2 of the ones i got are not in the list....if anyone can give me a hand it would be great...its code 23 and 54...thanks
do you have the rc/grp A? code 54 means that the water in your w2a intercooler needs checking and topping up, or that there is a problem with the water level sensor, or a problem with the pump for the intercooler system.
to my knowledge there is no code 23, perhaps double check it and make sure it is 23 and not something else.
hope i could help
i dont know what u mean by rc/grp A....i figured out what was causing code 54...and code 23 i doucle checked twice yesterday and both times it came up...
RC/Group A is the homologation versions of the ST185 GT-Four/All Trac. These had a water to air intercooler, steel wheeled turbo, slightly diff ecu, different bonnet and front bar, and all were widebody. If you have ticked all of these boxes (and its factory) then you have an RC/CS/Group A Rallye.
Ive only ever heared of code 23 in the ST205 chassis, it refers to the manifold air temp sensor (something earlier models dont have)
Are you running a gen3 ecu by any chance?
my all trac has had a motor swap and its a gen 3 motor with a air to air intercooler...and mine is widebody.im sry ive juste been having a bunch of problems, and ive only had the car for about 3-4months.its also my first turbo vehicle.and another thing...in my car if im reving 2000rpm and i tramp it to the floor ill only go up to 8psi....and go up gradually...by the time i hit 5500rpm i hit the 16psi im supose to be at...is that normal? thanks again
im going to assume its a gen3 ecu too then and your getting the MAT (manifold air temp) sensor error.
your lucky to have any boost at 2000 rpm.
no thats not quite normal, what exhaust system you running? im going to assume the air to air intercooler is front mounted? pics of your engine bay please.
are you using a boost controller?

i do not have a boost controller.i have a 3 inch exauste right from the headers(imotoria exauste)...and yes my intercooler is in the front...and i cant seem to put pics on it.
if you want to give me ur email...ill email u a bunch of pics of my car...wtv pics u need ill get...thanks
upload them to a hosting site like photobucket, then copy and paste the URL links in here.
pics of the engine bay, some pics of the rest of the car (for no other reason then ide like to see it)
I wonder if your wastegate actuator might be a little stiff? is that possible?

possible, also possible its on the wrong angle (ie if its mounted on a custom bracket after clocking the compressor housing.
Ok I will get the pics on tomorow
