Cometic have a picture of it on their website.. shame my headgasket is 30 minutes away to check it!

Any one got one about and can compare to this picture?

I have emailed the USA to ask if it suits the twin cam head or single cam.. will see what they say.

Going by the ACL drawings of the gasket it seems to be a 18RG one. (pics attached)

Awesomeness. The Cometic website list their one at US$85, which is a whole world better than the $255 Kameari one when I don't need the benefits of MLS.

Will let you all know how I go.

Will also look into the Cometic for 18R-GTE use... as the stock toyota gasket is purportedly good for ~20psi. Will see how the vibe is for using a Compressed Fibre Metal reinforced (OEM style) gasket for my intended use (~16psi max)

    As a separate note,

In the coming weeks/months I will be purchasing a full gasket kit (again), which will come with a good quality head gasket that I can't use. So if anyone is after an 18R-G head gasket for a standard or close to bore size in the near future, then let me know as I would hate for it to sit in a corner and gather dust. At a minimum, if you are after one in a month or so, then let me know before you go purchasing one at full retail price.

im using the stock 18R-GEU head gasket for my 18RGTE.... i think it will see more than 20psi (when it ever gets finished)
however i have an o-ringed head, which helps.

The stock toyota gasket actually looks really good quality, and was dirt cheap too - $55.

Last night I head back from Cometic and its confirmed that the Cometic one is an 18RG one, and suits the 92mm piston.

    Will get one ordered pronto

I have ARP Mitsubishi studs on the way to take care of the head bolt issue... looks like Cometic is a viable alternative to the heavily priced Kameari item...

Same here. I'm using the stocker and it's good for some decent power.

I didn't want any headaches when looking for head gaskets. I chose my bore size so that I can use standard head gaskets.

I worked on the same principle as oman.. just failed on thinking it all through lol.

Cometic one is ordered, needs to be manufactured, which will take 5-7 days, and then it will wing its way to our shores.

I will post a couple of photos when it arrives.

Saw this on ebay. I was wandering if it's a cheap option for turboing the geu...
Its supposed to be Universal, so there some items that need to be modified or added.
    what do you think.
    cheap kit at $550US freight $650 though.wow

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TQ:MOTORS:1123

i asked if possible to fit to geu. reply was.
    Hello,

    This is universal.

    t3/t4 t04e SINGLE TURBO
    max tested psi: 35
    power efficiency: 400+ gain
400+hp gain but thats at max psi.

EXTRA PARTS SUCH AS MANIFOLD IS REQUIRED. READ
    NOTES BELOW THOROUGHLY!!

    NOTE :

    * Not all parts are bolt-on. Universal piping kit
will need to be custom modified at an exhaust shop
to adjust for the correct bends. *

    * Requires a down pipe which needs to be
connected to existing exhaust. A custom adapter
needs to be fabricated from a place such as an
    exhaust shop. *

    * Other parts you need or should get is Turbo
Manifold, Boost Controller, Turbo Timer, and
    Engine/Fuel Management System. *

    * Professional Installation is Highly Recommended
    (No Instructions Included)!! *

    Thank you
