Any update on the database Norbie? I may have a few things to add but I'm guessing most of it is already up there.
Can't seem to open the database for some reason though, I can only get your main page to come up..
Measured the KE10 diff hub face to face at 1300mm, just a bit smaller than KE20.

Apparently it was hosted on someone elses server and the guy who posted it doesn't have another copy.
Does anyone else have another copy so we can get it back up? It'd be a shame to lose it as it's a valuable source of info.
Howdy
I know this post is old but does this info exist still?
I'm looking for the ratio for a '78 crown 3 spead auto. Also do we know the width?
Cheers

nostalgia is not what it used to be:

This suggests 4.11:1 ratio and 1460mm wide.

Thanks guys I'm looking for a diff to poke under my 1940 Ford and I picked up the complete car as it was destined for the crusher. Looking for some thing for leave springs - the width sounds about right at 1460. All sound great until I looked at the ratio - bugger 4.1 doesn't really cut it any more as highway gears! This diff isn't the Holden type - a pity because a ratio change would have been a snapI Thanks for you responses.
Cheers

just remember that even if it has the wrong ratio.. you can swap the head for the correct ratio. the crown ms112 was 1460mm hub to hub when i measured one (disk with internal drum handbrake) and F series 7.5" head. a 3.9 ratio are easy to find and 3.7 ratio are around with some searching. (ma61 celica-supra or estima supercharger for instance then swap the gears into your head). takes me about 1.5hrs to swap a head over.Originally Posted by Retroboy

my RT118 Corona wagon has a 3.93:1 BW diff that hasn't broken yet. although ~90rwhp won't really break diffs too easy![]()

Does anybody know the width of a YN56 Hilux Diff?
I think it was about 1440mm, can try to measure my YN57 on the weekend if you want?
Callum
Bugger.
That's good enough info for me.
Thats off the top of my head from measurements I did 3 years ago, so don't get too attached to it being correct. I do know the 50 series Hilux can be used in a KE70 with FWD offset, factory width on the 70 is 1400 to 1410 so a little wider than that.
