    Yeah, I've had that in the past with a leaking front main on the gearbox. When that happens the friction point on the clutch doesn't move though, it just starts slipping. So its not the case now.

    Killed the slave with heat from the track day?
    I never liked those internal slaves.

    Old school for mine. Push type. However I can't say I didn't have clutch issues initially.

    Got an inspection hole in the bellhousing? Can you see in there re travel distance?

    Might be worth box off inspection?

    Its a possibility, but I'm not sure how it could fail like this way.

    No inspection hole unfortunately either.

    Fluid won't change until it boils & makes bubbles, then it will only be OK after they've been removed/bleed or you're the lucky one with the reseviour port at the highest point so the bubbles can go up & out.

    That is my understanding too, and there aren't any bubbles appearing in the master cyl.
