Same capacity just lighter. Supposed to be not as smooth down low but reviver up top. I never noticed the lack of smoothness, in fact u could stand a coin on its edge on my rocker covers while the engine was running.
Why are you waiting til the bottom end is together to work out ur compression? It will be too late to do anything about it by then….. also why do you need to know ur compression to get cams ground? All u need to know for that is how u want the engine to behave lol
You should be able to work out comp now. u need to know bore, deck height, piston cc, head cc, HG thickness & bore. From memory standard GE pistons are a 12cc dish. For deck height u will need the crank and 1 x rod/piston in the block. What comp are you aiming for anyway?
What was the MHG in the vrs kit like? Is it a metal one in the full gasket kit too?
You got head studs too yeah?
