He got distracted by KFC & drove into a keep left sign near the matilda.

Alas I had been para for about 4 hours by this stage so didn't get to enjoy the laughter.

They have to accrew enough for nose reconstructions as well as feeding his mime family. The dont talk much so they never need much water for their dry mouths.

Maybe he was practising for the 'khana, and like so many people got confused about which way to go around the first blue pole....

the best bit was, he copped it sweet for so long, (he did take it all pretty well) then we ended up pushing him home.

Toymods: we'll rip ya a new one then push ya home.

    Several reasons

    *Laughing too hard
*Fear of getting too close and being drueled on (there were plenty of wintesses to the fact you were druelling like a St Bernard while announcements were being made).
*Hands were full of drinks and food.

Para, you were para long before that. I reckon you'd already been passed out for 4 hours by the time this happened.
Timing of the bed puke I cannot account for.

I remember you were slurring at me about being a bad drunk and I thought " No he's not"

I'm terrible when it comes to diagnosing alcoholism though..

Just touching on the subject of lack to Toymods attendance this year....

... much of the "core group" of toymodders have moved on in life, or cars are a lower priority at the moment. This core group are the guys (and gals) who turned up every year with bells on, without fail - in fact this was the first nationals ive missed since i first went in 2003.

I thought long and hard about it, and here's what i think are the reasons why the old core toymods group might not've attended this year....
    • blacksupra (baron von dong) - married, and from all accounts not allowed to even look at cars
    • ZZE92 + lucida - bought a house last year, being financially "wise"
    • Joshstix - overseas
    • toyman75 - bought a house and too many cars
    • bigperm - now lives in radelaide, too far to come
    • Mos - works too hard these days
    • Ed - jizzed in his pants over a 1uz
    • riceburna - crippled, and lost his job (GFC)
    • toobs - overseas for work
    • The Witzl - i bought 2 houses, and wanted to spend easter with my fiancee for the first time since i've met her. I also have no money, and im moving house next week

Then there are all the people who the core group would encourage to come, and who would come to toynats because of the large group mentality.

Of course there are also all the guys who are midway through builds, dont have the money, bought houses, got married, had families, etc etc.

For the most part... i think the core group is growing up, and doesnt have as much SPARE time and money to put into their toymodding anymore. Come a few years, and some of these guys might come back.

I know im certainly going to get back into the scene once i have more spare time and money.... then i can finish my bastard RA28.

I might see you all in 2010. Even if i dont have a car.
    ...... butt scratcher?!
