    How come you guys dont seem to interested in the datsun (nissan) 4 piston caliper set up ? the xa6x celica/supra set up that cruzida has set up is sweet! and have you ever seen how many ra60/65 celicas are at the wreckers lol

    ive gots ra65 struts and steering knuckles. final test fitment will be this weekend to my parts car and ill see.

    but atm hilux/pug is tried and tested and cheaper from all acounts to ra60 upgrades.

    i hope you like + camber because thats what you will be getting.


    i advise that you note which steering arm goes with which strut and swap them when you fit it to your car. you'll see what i mean when you look at the stuff. youll probly have to turn the stop bolts around as well. this will reduce the +camber by ~1/2 a degree i reckon

    this ~might~ make the steering a fraction harder if you swap the arms.

    im reading that nissan upgrade, although im more inclined to go with a toyota upgrade for wanker reasons, it seems like a better option, cause its a whole lot easier to find a fucked nissan dori dori car, then it is to find a fucked work ute... also, wat is a z32? and cruzida made a plate to bridge the gap didnt he? u dont need sumfin liek that on this upgrade.. do u
    id rather avoid that stuff if possible

    but on another not, i got there. they had an ma70 MC but wanted 75$ for it. and i want the gz20 MC cause its a single reservior one. and i know 100% that it doesnt fault on the turbos of the 1g... ive been told that the twin reservoirs do however fault on the turbos...??? sum1 plz confirm...

    the struts they had plenty of, the brakes they had none of. the disks they had none of...
    oh, and yeh i know not to use 2nd hand parts. i dont intend to. i just wanted to test fit everything first. cause u guys make it all sound to easy, so i know im missing a whole bunch of stuff..

    well im still trying to work out how many mm i need to take the disc down by???

    one ive heard 15mm other ive heard maybe 3mm tops??

    got ya motor yet smokey? where ya get it from / getting it from?

    SSS quoted $950 wiring and ecu $1600 with w58. today.

    yeh i got one, but i dunno how rooted it is. im gonna get the Head tested soon e nough. then ill wack a HG see if its got comp. hopefully it runs...

    i need a box but. so i might end up getting a package from sss anyway then use that engine for a fresh build up wif a few goodies . maybe we shud get two at once. see if they'll go down a few hund??? lol

    Peugeot 604 front discs= 273mm

    just take them back to between 268 and 270

    cant splurge 4 a 58 unless it really needed. no plans to mod engine yet...stock and maybe a few psi more down the track but nothingmega.

    w55 should be fine. "ndgcpr" was running or might still be running a w55 behind his 1g in his soarer.

    and i have a slight hunch that my alledged w58 is in fact a w57.

    further more, "wilbo666" was running a w55 behind his 180rwkw MA61 for a while.


    i say just use a 55/7. in fact the place that sells gearboxes probly just call them all W58's

    you should ask them for some proof that it is a W58 .....ie. get them to count the ratio.

    ask them how many times the alledged w58 input spline rotates after the output spline is turned 100 times. if its a w58 then the the input spline will do 78.3 revolutions

    86.1 would be a w57
    85.00 would be a w55

    If you's have read that thread on the nissan 4 piston upgrade, you'll see there is little work. Addaptor plate, simply bolt in.

    Machine the hubs down a few mil and add on that ring, easy enough.

    Then just buy new rotors to suite Z32 (300ZX) /R32 Type M. Buy them blank if you can or even ask for 4 stud.

    (make sure you ask for custom 4 stud, stock R33 non turbo is close but slightly thinner and smaller)

    Finaly, buy studs 8mm longer than stock (rotor adds 8mm).

    Shizam! You got brakes to write off the local clubsport homo.

    I have this set up, havent put the rotors on yet but i have a pic. Just to tease!
