ok, so i know i have corona struts in my sucker,

solid slotted rotors and twin oposing piston calipers, is that the rt132 strut?

or are there varying models and is there any way to tell exactly?

    cheers, blake

If your 'slots' are around the outside edge of the rotor, then you have vented rotor's, not 'slotted' ones. Imported Corona's (RT130's) generally have twin piston calipers. The locally made Corona's (XT130's) have a single piston with a 'U' shaped arm that slides the pad closer to the rotor, hence the phase...'single piston, sliding caliper'.
Google for pics if you are not sure of the difference, otherwise post a pic here and we will tell you what you have.

hahaha, nah you got me wrong mate, i have atm SLOTTED solid rotor's, not vented,
    but they are slotted...

    lol

and the calipers are twin piston OPPOSED calipers..., and i already hav the supra 1"/soarer master cyl, just got to make sure i have the right corona struts....

i got some pics today when i changed the front rims back to stockers,

anyone want to put them up for me, put up your email,

    cheers, blake

    Search the forums.
There was talk recently in some thread about a Holden hub that fits. Only problem is its 100x5.

yeah was me... hq discs which have an integral hub.

looking for something a bit less weighty..plus these dont fit under hilux/landy calipers.

main thing i dont want to do is start making brackets...prefer all bolt up stuff.

thanks anyways MWP ... maybe ill have to look back into commodore calipers...

ive seen a couple XT130s with the twin piston sumitomos. a fair few cars had these callipers....some crowns and even a holden (gemini?) have identical callipers.

I actually have an XT130 with the twin pot sumitomos also. Indeed, seems like these calipers got around a bit...

rotors are not something you reuse anyway really. even if you did get 2nd hand ones you'd want to get them machined. so you may as well just buy some RDA slotted's.

RE the callipers, there is only really a couple tings to look out for...

1st thing to check i that calliper mounting hole spacing is 90mm,
2nd is that the calliper was used with a 20mm thick rotor.
and i s'pose you should also check that the pistons are all same size.

from what ive seen, there are 3 types of hilux 4 piston callipers. essentially they are all the same however they vary in the thickness of rotor they run. one of them runs a ~12mm rotor, another (the one we want) runs a 20mm rotor and the other one runs ~32mm.
