dkabab, not sure dude as i cant remember the last time i saw a stock car with any JZ series engine on the dyno.

better way to find out would be to check through members rides threads and see there increases as they mod their cars.

but all the above engines will get over 200rwkw with factory turbos and torque just increases as you wind the boost up, however there is a limit on how much each factory ecu will take before pinging and boost cutting etc.

    cheers

    question,
what is going to spool up faster, A: a small turbo being spooled by 3L of exhaust gas or B: a medium sized turbo being spooled by a 2.5L?
now when you put it like that

however the vvt turbo is a different generation, and may still have good spool compared to the first of the 2J twins (after reading the comparison of the 1J vvti with the twins and the single..) due to aero efficiency

    but yeah, offboost = 2J,
partial throttle and transient... still probably 2J.
    2j vvt... FTW

(i'm just tired of driving non VVT turbo )

edit: VVT 1.5J? if the difference in cost makes it feasible, and you can provide the oil gallery needed (?)
