$110 is the standard trade price for a set. $220 for a full set of 4.

I guess my post above is abit misleading ( / = or )

    EDIT:
And damn, thats cheap for the shocks... very cheap.

hey does anyone know if there will be a difference between say king lows, and standard height lovells that are reset to king-low height?

will the ride quality be lower or different if the springs are originally desinged for stock ride height?

also if i were to ask for my lovells to be lowered, how do i explain how much i want them lowered to match the height of king lows (seems like a pretty good height)

The lovells are about 20-25 % stiffer than king lows.

Just ask for them to be reset lower by the amount you want the car lowered. They will just reset the free length by the same amount.

Here are some specs on the kings and lovells

The last column is the free length in mm

Brand Front/rear Lb/In Kg/mm Wire diameter No. of coils Free length

    Lovells f TFS-51 184 3.29 16 5 310
    Lovells r TRS-52 230 4.11 15 8.5 365
    King f KTFL-76 149.6 2.67 16 5.6 310
    r KTRL-77 194.4 14 8 350

so the standard lovells rears are the same 'free length' as king lows rear?

my standard lovels at the moemnt make my car look like a fucking tractor.

basically i want to know if handling will be better with reset lovells or new king lows.

last time I sold springs for mx83's they were only about 1" drop from standard
( doesnt help if the cars factory have sagged and it only drops 10mm )
kings will reset them lower as a special order
dont make them too short though as they will become uncaptive in the struts

    cheers

Changed my suspension to lowered King Springs and KYB shocks, wasn't really a fun job to do by myself Rear was easier to do than the front.

Much better than my stock ones . After a week of driving I noticed it was making some weird noise when I go over small bumps. Took it to a workshop and they said I needed new top mounts on the front cos they were worn and bearing was on its way out . They changed it and it was much better but it still pulls a little to the left.

    Well here it is
