    Did you grind the top of the shock properly? Would it be the upper spring seat hitting the chassis if you are using MA springs?
    What upper hat are you using? Maybe the spherical bearing if its a jap one.

    Also check the strut top nut, i was getting a knocking noise a while back when a retard at Pedders replaced the rear struts and did one up with the Imperial nut and a rattlegun. Crossthreaded and then stripped all the thread off, was being held on by the nylon ring only.

    I let the suspension shop change the pair of shocks. After changing the suspension once I didn't want to do it again.

    Hey guys, sorry to dig up an old thread but does anyone know the diameter of the Rav 4 and Supra KYBs mentioned in this thread? Had a dig around the KYB site and it's pretty useless.
