Hi all, have been looking for a genuine TA63 steering wheel for a while now and can happily report that I just purchased one from the States. Can't wait for it to arrive! Now I need a TA63 dash cluster, anyone sitting on one of these that they no longer need? I realise it's not a tech related topic, but this is the best 3T-GTE source I've come across.

    Best pictures I got.
Small case Delco Remy alternator with washers for spacers, an upper bracket from a Mitsubishi 4g63 turbo, and a ground down stock bottom bracket. Post offset 180* opposed. The alternator is actually rewound by Startech in the United States to 140 amps. It has an internal regulator compatible with the Toyota light and wiring. Hope this helps give ideas.

Hey guys what have you done in the way of neatening up the oil lines that cross over across the face of the head? I am missing mine and there are just shit hoses in their place. Maybe get some pipe and bend them inplace? Run them behind the head instead? Any ideas/pics appreciated..

    Ricey,

Best bet is to use the factory hard lines. I think I have a spare set at my old ladies place.

The best Alt Ive found is the Denso from a 22re. There internally fanned and regulated and 80amp as standard.
A new lower mount needs to be made, but Ive been useing mine on the rally car for years and its taken a real hammering and Ive only just needed to replace it.

Nath I bought a break line bender, a pipe cutter and enough length of right hard line and bent up my own lines then took it to a brake and clutch place to do the ends. that was for the brake lines for my MC upgrade so I guess you could do the same for those oil lines.

OT but I got my 3TG motor up & running & did 30 virgin kms on her today. Ran beautifully, went for a drive up some hilly mountain roads and she pulled well under load. Very satisfying 1st engine rebuild

Last Time I got these you could order them new from Castle Hill Toyota for a fraction of what SW Charges.
