the kit for the 15s is to suit 23/28 struts but the kit for 16s is to suit 130/132 struts.
cheers

Ok, So the 16'' kit will be 2 3rds the price of the 15" kit? I guess ill start searching for some xt130/rt132 struts again and do away with the std struts. Thanks
Matt
the r33 rotors arent cheap! dba 4000 are $200 each trade.....
hows the kit comng?
But that's DBA 4000s... They are an awesome disc... The standard slotted DBA R33 rotors (DBA 4963) are more like $100-125 trade...
....they didnt have a listing for anything else.....but thats alot better!
cheers!
Hrmm... That DBA # only comes up with the 4000s for me also... I'll see what I can find out...
umm hate to point out the obvious but if the number is four digets long and starts with a 4 then its a 4000 series, same with a 5000 series starts with a 5Originally Posted by twentyEight

ps if you dont want to spend much try rda but dba are much better.
EDIT please remember we are talking about brakes so going tight in this area doesnt really make much sense
I paid $ 200 a rotor for my 4000 series skyline rotors. They are the 330mm V spec ones though.
Which ones are we talking about here............ the 298mm ones i take it ?
P>S the 5000 series rotors are for show purpose only........ They arent even recommended by DBA themselves if you have track duties in mind![]()
They warp the hats because of the different expansion rate between the alloy Vs the steel rotor.

2 the $1400 worth of discs (2) sitting next to me for my soarer will tell you a very very very different storey. if you are talking the "kangaroo paw" ones then yes i will agree but i paid a shite load of mulla for the curved vane rotors as they are the only things that will pull a car up consistently if you want to abuse the shit out of them,
they also reduce unsprung weight which is better for handling and last time i looked what do most real race cars have HMMMM um HATTED rotors.
havent seen to many 343x32mm or larger unhatted rotors on the market lately unless your talking oem parts.

ps that like me saying the v8supertaxis are swapping to solid discs and 4 piston sliding calipers next year.

guess i'll have to save a few more pennies for the rotors then...they wanted $100 at the wreckers for used R33 rotors.....?
and theyll be worth every cent. but please dont throw some cheaparse pads in ther to compensate.Originally Posted by IN 05 NT
get some ds2500 in there and youll never use $100 pads again.
linden are your rotors DBA ones ??? If so im surprised you were not aweare this.......
I wanted the 5000 series but a phone call to DBA to organise them and i was told for my application ( track use ) to steer well clear of them .
V8 supercars cant be compared to anything they are a total different design hat to DBA ones that and the fact that the hat is almost always machined true after every race (+ new rotors) because of the fact they will warp....... Something your average joe doesnt have access or the cash to do.
Im just telling what i was told from the horses mouth.......... Its the same with cross drilled and slotted rotors from dba.
They will tell you to steer clear of them and go with slotted only if you plan on taking your car to the track as they crack
