Cheers for the info, Blake. I'm definitely keen for a set if RoadRunner's still got any left/making any more.

    Thanks

got 1 set of the XT130 / R33 brackets left at the moment but be aware there is a fair whack of fiddling to get them to go straight on (ask blake, he watched me do it).

i was going to reply to your PM ages ago but would rather have a working setup done b4 just claiming to have done it.

    cheers

blake, what rim width and offset are you running on the front, and how much clearance between the rim and the strut with the spacer on?

    cheers

17x8 with +35, wheel to strut gap, is about 10mm-12mm. (hence why i want teh smaller spacer!)

No worries. Once you've got a working setup let me know and we'll sort something out.

I think he means he didn't reply to your PM ages ago because he wanted to have a working setup, which he now has I believe...

    Could be wrong though...

yeah it all works now that ive had the time to put it together properly, blakes setup is the exact same as you want XT130 struts with R33 calipers and discs.

ive also done a set using XT130 struts with R33 GTST calipers and R33 GTR discs 324x30mm which are on bigmats RA28 and should stop extremely well, but the discs are much more expensive and it required the use of an EVO brembo pad to cover the swept area correctly thus requiring alot of time and $$$.

wow there is some good info in here !!!!!!

i'm about to undergo the following conversion.

XT130 -----> XT130 ( with nissan calipers and 280ish disk and coilovers) done for a dirt setup.
    i'll take photo's/write ups/part numbers/$$$$$ the whole was through.

send me a PM if you know where i can get some f the parts i need. also spring rates and type of shocks for rallying.

    thanks and stay tuned

for a dirt setup i cant see any need to go past the CPH setup thats covered to alot of detail in takai's thread.

the gtst/280mm disc is also the hardest conversion to do, i doubt it would even be possible to get on an xt130 strut (trust me i tried)

    cheers

We have just finnished doing XT130 struts with R33 DB400 series rotors, R32GTST calipers and R33 caliper's and disk's on the rear, all under 15's, and 4 stud. and may i add that the car stops damm hard all day well worth the effort and way better than that Hi lux junk.

the calipers and disks are off a 200sx same design as the skyline one but built out of heavier materials !!

still have to machine the disk and get it redrilled to the right stud pattern.

might have to wait a bit till after the new diff is in first.

If you're going to use the shitty cast calipers off the S15, then I can't see the point...

You may as well go for the Corona/Pug/Hilux brake upgrade which doesn't involve custom caliper brackets and maching of the hubs or anything, and will stop just as good...
