I had the TRD leads...sexy as. Wire wound coil though so RF interference with ECus was a real issue

Im going for a multi-coil setup on my 18RGTE, so i'll most likely have custom leads in the end....

But i do vote for the NGK leads for a stock dissy setup.

Umm, the NGK prices all over this forum (and this thread). the rrp is ~49.95.

Got a pic of the TRD leads?

I was looking to get custom leads as well (coz i wanted black leads) but nowhere could make them right angle with the correct boot, much sadness in pants.

I can't find my green book, and search isn't yeilding what I want to know...

Can someone please confirm the tolerances on the pistons and bore of the RG please? I believe they are 89-89.05mm for the bore, and 88.94-88.99mm for the piston diameter...

I've just dropped my block off today for a check over, but it looks like the bore might be too worn for my pistons :-(

We got some eagle E84168 leads for my brother's 18RG. They have a 7mm core. We had them custom done from the originals. They sent new ones with a sticker and part number for 18R twin cam or 18R-G or something. These were sourced from Sprint Auto Parts.

They have the straight up cap, but the lead doesn't have to hit the bonnet. Go to a wrecker and get some lead clips to neaten them up a bit. No hitting at all.
Personally, I like the straight up thing, less bending of the lead and it's easy to adjust how far the lead protrudes from the boot.

    Cylinder Limit - 88.50-88.55
    Piston - 88.44-88.49

These are obviously standard size bore and pistons.

The figures would match up for 0.5mm oversize piston limits.

    Hi,

def extractors, brand will probably be stamped on the side - really your only way of identifying. Does it matter what brand anyway?

They don't look like pacemaker extractors as number four goes under 1-3 on them where as those ones have number 4 going over the top.

    Pacemaker extractors on 18RG
