    Default 1G-GTE Head Comparrison

After looking into the 1G turbo's I thought I'd see what I could find out about the 1G heads.

I picked up a Gen 2 Head from Smokey228 and once I got it home I found the Head series number cast into the side above the exhaust ports for Cylinders 5 & 6. Casting number is 11111-88340

Then I checked the head on Ben's Gen 3 1G_GTE on the engine stand. Its the same !

Anyone got a Gen 1 head they can check ?

Anyone got a 1G head with anything different on the casting number ?

Exact same number except the cams have a 1- (Inlet) and 2- (Exhaust) in front of them...

The idea is the cams are numbered like that because they are designed for that head...

intersting that the plain GE's have two numbers so far yet all GTE's have been the same.

Maybe there are different profile cams in the NAs. More parts to steal for the GTE's MUHAHA

well seeing as we got another number I went and looked at mine
    Gen 1 - 88340
    Gen 2 - 88340
    Gen 3 - 88340
Still makes me wonder if they are the same tho, as there are so many different cam covers
