    1. The blue plug, one level goes to injectors and the other to coils, they bridge up in the plug they connect to.
    2. I haven't go the paperwork i did from my conversion with me but im pretty sure there is wiring on the other two ECU plugs that is needed.

Try here, the R32 might confuse them a bit, but worth a shot.

All the diagrams you need on the JZX side of things are already posted here, you just have to study them a bit and they will make sense.

Thankyou for your help so far.

Back to question 1 please (I'm alittle thick, but I get stuff eventually). So those wires you say go to injectors and coils off of the blue plug need power when the key is on, correct? Can I power em ALL up with a relay when the key is in the ON position?

As for question 2, when I said power up the stuff on the 16 pin and the 28pin, that meant that all the stuff on the 34 pin and the 22pin was already hooked up to the engine and kindof and untouched harness type of dealy. I just thought that all the stuff that powers the ECU was on 16pin and 28 pin, correct?

I really appreciate this. I was REALLY worried before, and the fear is starting to subside. LOL.

Please clear up those two Qs for me.

I will post any and all findings when done... (if there is interest in something that seems to have already been done).

    IT LIVES!!!!!!!

I powered up the four wires that said they needed power, and I poered up all the black with white stripes in that blue plug.....and bam, it ran (with the fue pump straight wired).

Is there any reason why anything like vvti shouldnt work?

Is vvti speed dependent, or should my lack of a speed sensor (only sensor not hooked up) not matter?

hi peoples, have been reading this thread and have got some good info but was wondering if anyone had any wiring diagrams of the other plugs on the 1jzgte vvti engine loom which go to the body at all?

i am currently wiring up one of these motors (ex jzx100) into a jzx90 mark2 and there seems to be a lot of wiring not needed. I know a lot runs the auto gearbox and since we have only the non turbo auto gearbox we are using that. Im not sure how I am going to be able to hook up the speedo sensor as the plugs are different. Any ideas? was going to trace as thats the only choice I have.

    thanks people.

There are a few that you will not use unless you want to hook up the internal TDLC. The ones I picked out was

    Starter
    EFI
    Revers light
Power to gear selector on the box
    Power to coils
    AC clutch
Fuel pump that runs from TDLC on motor

Best thing is to trace and make sure. Im busy closing up my harnes and then plug and play

thanks man i'll have a go with those wires. Is there any issues I will have using the non turbo auto gearbox behind the turbo engine? I know I wont be able to use the triptronic shifting since the gearbox is just a standard 4speed auto.

Also how will I get the speedo to work since the 3 pin plug on the auto (speed sensor) is different from the loom that is with the 1jzgte vvti engine. ie no plug to plug into the auto. do they pick up their speed signal from somewhere else? cheers
