Modified Historics – The Classic Vehicle Scheme (CVS)

DISCLAIMER: As modified historics has the capacity to carry a higher risk to the club, we will only support modified historic applications that are within the interests of the club. Applicants must have a history of active participation in club events, and must abide by the code of conduct.

The Toymods Car Club is an active participant in the NSW Classic Vehicle registration Scheme (CVS).

Key Points:

  • # Your Vehicle must be 30 years or Older
  • # Your vehicle must be garaged in NSW
  • # You must be an active participant within the Toymods Car Club
  • # You must be a financial member of the Toymods Car Club

The Basic Process:

  • # Vehicles applying for or renewing their CVS registration must be  inspected by the Toymods Plates registrar each year.
  • # You will bring the completed paperwork with you for the inspection each year, this includes a Toymods Club Rego Application form (Link is below)
  • # Vehicle inspections ONLY take place at the Monthly Toymods Social meetings (3rd Monday of the Month)
  • # We will need to confirm the Blue Slip, Engineers report and your vehicle all match (MUST be a manual hand written Blue/pink slip).
  • # Assuming all is in order we can stamp your completed Classic Vehicle Declaration form.
  • # You will pay Toymods its $20 Admin fee (per vehicle)
  • # You will pay the ACMC directly (Direct Deposit) for the CMC Plate admin fee ($25 per vehicle)
  • Once those payments are made we can stamp your CVS Declaration Form
  • # You will Snail mail the ACMC your Club Stamped and Completed Declaration Form and a COPY of your Pink Slip – Emails and Scans of this form will Not be accepted (This is an RMS ruling).
  • CMC Postal Address:
    ACMC NSW Ltd
    PO Box 419
    Bexley, NSW 2207
  • # The ACMC will snail mail you back your approved/Double stamped CVS paperwork to the address you put on your form.
  • # The CVS application process will therefore take more than a few days to process, no we can’t speed this up so do not leave your renewal to the last minute.
  • # Reminder: Your Blue Slip guy needs to complete part of the Application for Historic registration Form for you that you take to the RMS.

NOTE: New CVS Applications require a Blue Slip – Renewals for CVS require a hand written pink slip. Both require the Stamped Declaration to be mailed to the CMC and both require a completed Toymods Application form.
