With the lift pump coming in right at the bottom... I have mine like that but it means most the fuel can drain back to the tank so the efi hiflow pump may run dry for awhile when it first starts up.

Using sleeved bolts will not block the top port as long as the sleeves are long enough to provide clearance - the sleeves will be butted up against the bodywork holding the tank down. You will find that it will not be able to move and should have decent clearance.

make a big arsed C-shaped bracket out of 2-3mm sheet steel.. mounts it right way up, and gives some road debri protection also....

the point of this thread is to ascertain the right ways to mount the thing. its hard to find a tank for $100 with the inlets in the right spots. we dont all have stacks of cash floating around

If you want to use it you could always go find an alloy welder and get them to weld an extra inlet at the new top.

Thats not really a helpful post, if you don't intend to share your knowledge then why even bother posting. Probably going to cost me some rep but your attitude lately and air of superiority doesn't really seem to sit that well with the whole point of Toymods which is helping fellow Toyota owners.

Pull my head in? Why not pull yours out of your ass. A vast store of knowledge you are not willing to share is no good to anyone around here.

I got mine custom made to suit the undercar mount setup like your doing for about $100.
To avoid the fuel draining out when its not running just strap the fuel line up to the floor. Use what you have because it will work fine. If you wanted to make it perfect get another outlet welded near the top but its just not needed, put it in and go have some fun!
