hmmm yes I have noticed this too, and there are others that get neg rep for supposedly asking for rep when he didn't, hmm I don't understand

So, is anything going to be done with regards to the current priveledged user rep requirements due to there being a lack of people using the rep system?? Its been quite hard just getting to 25 rep... so the other half of the journey is going to be just as hard. Especially now that im full time employed, and only have access to toymods at lunchtime and at night(sometimes) as afternoons and weekends i work on cars.

i have a little bit of a gripe about rep actually and the inability of being able to give it to the same person due to the 15 rep points issued gap rule.

for instance, i gave Lambolica positive rep for his great JZA70 conversion writeup which was well worth rep, then subsequently a couple of weeks later i felt i should give him another positive rep mark for his writeup on TVIS which was equally as good.. however the system wont let me.

i think for two top notch posts he deserved the rep, but the system doesn't give that ability to commend him for it.. just one issue i think needs to be addressed. maybe instead of a points issue limit of every 15 points, work in something like a max of say 5 points allowed to be issued per user on a 3 month basis or something.. seems a bit fairer.

generally this would be better because theres a lot of shit posts everywhere, but a few contributors who genuinely contribute good content and can't be rewarded for it because of the existing system..

i find the same thing... you are reading through a thread (and yes, i read almost all tech threads, membership threads, and most general car threads), and you see a post that deserves rep, so you do so, and then when it eloads, you have to scroll down to find where you were up to...
a minor inconvenience, but would be nice if there was an easy fix...

it's not that we are scrolling thru threads looking to give rep... sometimes i don't read a thread (if it has a title that doesn't interest me directly) until there are a reasonable number of posts in it, indicating that some kind of decent discusion is going on..
i'm sure othr ppl read the forums this way also

i can read but there is that muh crap about how the colours should be changed etc. that i only skim read and didnt remeber anyone answering the question when i asked the first time.

Exactly. If you really want to know you should read through and you can always ctrl + F for words on a page. It's pretty slack just not to bother.

Well than you would think after 11 pages and so many countless questions being reanswered that somebody would have taken the initiative to lock this thread. I think that it is past its use by date and no longer serves a purpose apart from people whinging.
