And that's the perfect opportunity for you to give them negative rep for trying to abuse the system and then report them to the modeartors. It's easy to do just click on the little exclamation mark in the red triangle.

We can't read everything on the forums all of the time.

You get neutral rep if the peron has no rep power.

And in about ten minutes you'll be getting negative rep if your signature is still asking for rep.

On a slightly more reputation-based issue, I just had someone positive rep me for an insignificant thread in non-car discussion about golf of all things; comment is "go on, return the favour..."... now, overlooking the fact that this request is meaningless as I am not a club member and thus cannot see who posted the rep, is there any way a mod or admin can (a) remove the pos. rep point, and (b) neg rep the person who posted it on my behalf?
