    Gene,
I should have mentioned this before now but I caught up with Ian Dawson at the the last round at Belmont a week ago, which we both spectated at.
Ian was going to pay his full entry fee to Norbert at the end of that day, so that makes our number 4 I think.
    He has a 12A engined TA22.
    Cheers,
    Mitch.

Excellent! Matty's got his entry in, and sounds like Ross and his dad have a Corolla AE82 that they'll be entering in events like this. So, should see them along too.

So, see Matty, you're now up the list:

    Confirmed and entered:
    Gene - TA22 Celica 1600cc turbo
    Mitch.T - RA23 Celica supercharged 6 cyl
Luke - RA40 Celica (Rally scheme) with 18RC
Matty - Supra/MR2 (will start in the Supra)
Ian: TA22 Celica with 12A Rotary

Andrew - Nissan Skyline (non-OST team, but joining in) entered in July, maybe others

    Confirmed, not yet entered:
    Ross & Dad - AE82 Corolla

    Possibilities/"Reserves":
Stepho: 1st gen Celica - probably not entering all rounds, but may do some.
Thomas: building-up an RA28 Celica, can't do all rounds, but may do some.
Wayno: later gen Celica (dependant on if car is ready, etc.)
Clint: may enter some events depending on whether he's in town.
    Adam: AW11 MR2

It will be a Toyota invasion mate - those Lotus Elise's and WRX's will not know what hit them!

The second series starts on the 16th of July, with dates shown below:

    Sunday 16 July 2006
    Sunday 20 August 2006
    Sunday 17 September 2006
    Sunday 15 October 2006
    Sunday 19 November 2006
    Sunday 10 December 2006 (Finals)

The OST team entries are entered in the PM sessions (although some may end-up in the AM sessions that haven't entered yet).

It will be a pretty good Toyota turn-out to turn some heads.

Hopefully get some other Toymods, OST, Celica club members along to spectate to from time-to-time. Maybe bring the banner Damo?

Don't know if Stepho or Thomas are entered in the July event, but it's looking like a good showing of first gens :-)

Exclamation Re: Imports101 MaxAction Second Series 2006

Just a reminder that the Imports101 MaxAction Motorkhana is on this Sunday afternoon at the Belmont Park Raceway carpark.

The latest confirmed list containing our guys included:
    • Mitch - RA23 Celica
    • Gene - TA22 Celica
    • Ian - TA22 Celica (now confirmed)
    • Luke RA40 Celica
    • Matty Supra
    • Andrew Skyline

To my knowledge, there's a few spots available if anyone wants to enter, but better make it quick.

Since Matty asked, for those of you that haven't been along before:

    • They will scrutinise your car for general road-worthiness/safety
    • Have no loose objects such as books, tyres, etc (ideally not in your boot either)
    • Your tyres need to be road-worthy
    • Last time I didn't need a helmet in a hardtop car - may need to check though
    • Long-sleeve top and pants, enclosed shoes, etc
    • Bring your CAMS license and Club membership if you have it.

I have a fire extinguisher in my car, which they decided was OK. But you don't need one, and mine was touch and go due to them being concerned about mounting. So, if you have one, you should either remove it or make sure it's secure.
