ever thought about getting a 5 x .... or 4 x 114.3 pcd rim redrilled to 4 x 100?
have got it done to a 4 x 114.3 15" rim in brisbane, seems to be prity comon oversea's too.
I'm thinking of getting my hubs redrilled to 4x114.3, as that is more common, then I'll slot the holes in the front rotor (it's already redrilled from 5 stud) and redrill the rear rotor (which is stock).
If I can find more rims in 4x114.3 that is.
Hello
You will brake through the edge of the up almost with 4.5". Its 7.15mm further out on radius than the 100mm PCD. Im certain you would break through.
You could probably get a shop to plug the old 4x4.5" stud pattern and then redrill 4x100mm. Theres no metal to redrill rims as they are all hollow in the other quarter.

There is a rule for offset too. Only alllwed to make the track of the car 1 inch wider overall.
This thread is full of so much mis-information.
Why not just add bolt on spacers which change the stud pattern and run the appropriate offset wheel.
OR just live with it being 4x100 and get wheels fitted to that stud pattern (custom)
Or just get a car with 5x114.3 pattern.
Subaru's use 5 x 100 stud pattern. Lots of wheels out there for the rexes.
i.e if you go with the celica option.
1. Not happening. I've been defected once and with the 'hoon' laws, my car gets impounded the next time. This build is going to be all legit (or built in a way that it looks legit).
2. Trying to do something like that, but I'm not dropping a grand per rim. 17" in 4x100 PCD is hard enough to get, and even those are mainly +40 to +45 or so. I need +35-ish.
I'd rather just save the cash for a set of Gram Lights or Volks.
3. Not a chance.![]()
if you cant find 4x100 in a +35 offset then you arent trying hard enough. just look on ebay US.
try finding 4x100 wheels in 0 or negative offsets, now THAT'S hard![]()
It's easy in 15", but in 17" all I can find is trash knockoffs that weigh 20kg each or are thin and weak, or Uber expensive Jap rims (which are in the plans, but that's later)
How strong a wheel you looking for?
I'm going to be selling my Dina shortly & I'll be refitting the Stock brakes & wheels back to it.
I'd bought some 17x7 in a +38 offset which just cleared the ST205 GT4 brakes I've got fitted.
These are a 5x100 pattern.
The wheels are quite light, & the boxes say they're liquid forged, but for $1000 for the lot(with rubber is extra)
And, I may be coming up to Brissie in a couple of weeks for the weekend, so I can bring one with me if you want to check them out.
Was this ever sorted? I am looking at this as well now as there is just not enough 17 or 18's with sub 35 offset for my Levin/Trueno. I want Work cr's in white....
