    update !!!!

    tried to reload the lappy and it just gave me errors now i need a new one!!!! RIP IBM peace off shit !!!!!!

    plugged the lc-1 into my shed comp with a com port and im still getting the same error ????

    there has to be somthing wrong with it ???

    i spent 4 hours trying drivers so i could get my LC1 to connect with my ebay POS usb-serial adapter.
    sorry but i deleted the whole ordeal from my memory so i can't help you except to say if you keep trying it will work. i almost through my laptop at the wall.

    The dummy plug (innovate call it a terminator plug) should be fitted to "serial in" female socket.

    ok. do you get the normal LED operations when you power the unit up? ie. blinking to indicate the sensor is warming up and then constand LED on to indicate that it is measuring?
