    65mm piping
T28 BB Turbo (S15 early model)
flebay manifold (lol i know it will crack )

    and the prob is management
Have just brought a Micro-tech lt8 with hand controller for $380 but it has a tuned map for a 20v turbo ??? Will this work with my setup ??? And any other advice that may help would be great ... This is my First TURBO SETUP so be gentle :-p

Might want to re-check the pcv hose.

Also, get the car to a tuning shop if you want the car to last any amount of time.

Should take a week and a bill for around $800-1000
Broken up, most shops will charge around $200 an hour dyno time.

Looks good though, i run a similar setup for my 4agte.
    Smallport 4agze with T28bb of an s15 at 14psi boost i make 154kw atw.
    Goes great.

Realisticly to put any computer from one engine to another especially turbo the tune should at least be checked and 99% of the time it requires some level of re-tuning but should be good enough to start....

The other thing to the best of my knowledge is that you cant change the triggering settings on a microtech it has to be sent to them to have it done so you would need to make sure it has the same number of teeth in the 20v dizzy etc for it to run as is.

How much boost are planning on running on stock internals?

    What about fuel system, injectors?
Im not sure how it will cope with the added stress of boost..

I am very interested in your setup and the cost of the parts - i wouldn't mind turboing my AE82 bigport..

I am in the process of building a smallport 4AGZE with a T28bb turbo off a S15 into an AW11 MR2. I am running a microtech MTX-8. Details are in my ride thread. Best of luck with it. Being a 4age, be gentle with it, lest it suffer some breakage...

Though once you do break it, you can easily replace with a 4AGZE.

Had a look at work today and it does look the same at least the one we have there is, its also a silver top one.

Just want to ad aswell i have seen a couple of stock 4ag's with turbos bolted to em now and if you be sensible with the boost and tune they seem to have quite a good lifespan.

I turbo'd my NA 4AG. 160rwkw. Lots of fun, even with a blownhead gasket.

    Also second the injector question:
The 20v run high impedance from the factory. 100kw are also high. 4AGZE are low (presume you are swapping to these), so you will need to adjust this with the computer.

Microtech will handle both low and high impedance injectors with no probs.

Injector Impedance cant be configured with the microtech's. You are limited to how many of low impedance injectors you can run per injector output bank. So you wont need to adjust anything impedance related. You should be fine though to run either high or low though, considering you have 4 injector output channels and only one injector per channel (ie. no bank-fire or grouped injectors).

You WILL most definately have to alter the fuel idle and load maps due to the differing injectors and desired boost level and a few other engine specific factors (ie. base fuel pressure, etc).

I would also check that the timing is being retarded upon boost sufficiently for what type of fuel you are going to be running.

If you need any help with the microtech (micro-leb) ecu's then just sing out mate, I am more than happy to help whether it be the tuning and setup part or the wiring side of things as I have done several installs/tunes in the past.

GZE injectors with an increased base fuel pressure through the use of an adjustable fuel reg such as the Turbosmart FPR series ones should be able to handle up to 1 bar - ish of boost safely. But I prob wouldn't push them much further past that. All of which depends on your turbo, amount of air flowing into your engine, blah blah blah. Can be adversely affected in so many ways.

But yeah if you need a hand then you have definitely come to the right place

I may not know everything or be a guru on everything, but there are several people on here who are guru's on most 4A related things!

Best of luck and be sure to keep us updated!

Yep yours was one i was referring to Jaz, its been goin strong for ages (minus the recent head gasket)

Also there was that white KE with the same engine also making round the 160 mark running microtech and s15 turbo.
