one of the camiras (JD? JE?) had low pressure TBI (from 1986?) (also good for delco, ignition drivers etc)
some foulcans also had TBI but they might be a little big.
hi guys im doing an efi conversion on a 1L turbo charade, and im trying to find a throttle body injection setup from another car.
I know cordia turbos, and the GA16i engine from pulsars had tbi, but i havent been able to locate anyone wrecking either of these.
so im trying to figure out which other cars under 2L had a throttle body injection setup with might suit my use. Im assuming some older toyotas might of? anything else?
cheers

3.9L Falcon back in the XD/E (i think, one of the square ones after XC) range. Engines were 150hp or less, so TB and injector might be about the right size. Should be able to pick up from any wrecking yard.
Pretty sure the E16 out of the early N13 Pulsar's was TBI aswell.

the mono-jetronic setup is what you are looking for, found in the LD astra 1987-1989 JD Camira from 1986-1987 also the n13 pulsar with the 1.6 engine

I'm fairly sure some of the early daewoo's had TBI as well as they used a carbon copy of the camira engines almost. might be worth a look
Wish I had a F#%ken awesome toyota.. saving for the goodness now.... stay tuned....
AFAIK they used the later Camira setup, which had TPI

Some 3.2 and 3.9 litre EA and EB Falcons had TBI... They had 120kW. they used a "two barrel" throttle body, the butterfly's opened at the same time... These can be picked by the round aircleaner on top of the engine.. 3.9MPI cars used an airbox and made 139kW. The sindle point engine was discontinued with the introduction of the EB series 2, which used a 4.0 MPI as the base engine.
The earlier XE and XF Falcons equipped with EFI were all Multipoint.
It wasn't a carbon copy of the Camira engine, it WAS the Camira engine, the good-old Family II. GM had a controlling interest in Daewoo from the very beginning, and up until 1996 all Daewoos were based off existing GM cars (the Espero for instance is a J-car, ie a Camira with other body panels, and the 1.5/Cielo was an old Opel Kadett, otherwise known as an Astra)

details details.. still there is nothgin like a camira for driveway entertainment. Park car in driveway watch pieces fall off. actually that works with daewoo's too.

Those Family II Motors were pretty reliable, used in Pulsar N13's and other cars. 16LF was a 1.6L Throttle body injected and 18LE was a 1.8 Multipoint injected. Only problem with those motors was the oil pickup was so small, that it would easily get blocked with dirt/sludge and then the whole engine falls apart.
one good knock and the engine mounts have a habit of breaking/shearing too. mates mum had a camira and she hit a speedbump too quick and the engine broke off mount mind you nearly every car she has had has ended up written off somehow.. maybe it was jsut her
