As for the actual shutterbug, I'm looking for a few people for the job. My hope is that we have more cars than time will allow to shoot, so having a group of photographers each taking one or two specific shots would be appreciated to get everyone included - if you're handy with a digicam and have the time free, please let me know?!

May not make it now as we won accomadtion in busso for a few nights before this coming back on the saturday but dunno what time and car will be dirty from busso to perth drive. Still if i get back in time and run it through a brushless wash i'm there with my camera too only a little digital sony but it takes nice shots

I will have a talk to my daughter as she has a digital SLR and may come down to take some pics. AT this stage I will be there but will be driving with 1 arm in a sling.

At this stage and while I'm not CURRENTLY changing the event date, I may either choose to move the entire event to another date later in March or April, or split the actual individual photography up due to the numbers interested.

I'm having major dramas with The City of South Perth's requirement for Public Liability Insurance to have a number of cars in one location - at this stage I can't get it as a private entity, so that would require moving the venue. I do have a couple of alternate venues in mind, which still gives us the Perth City Skyline in the background - it simply means inconveniencing the public somewhat, which was one major point I was trying to avoid personally! I will keep the original thread post accurate, and personally notify all parties of any changes by PM - stay tuned!

Additonal to my PLI dilema, if anyone has an avenue to be able to provide coverage for this "social get together" please let me know. I am more than happy to rename, provide a detailed event schedule, and to some degree - bend over ready to be rogered, if it means the coverage needed is provided. I will also consider payment of a small fee (no, the quote of $700-1000 an insurance agent mused would be an appropriate fee for such coverage is not acceptable), if it means coverage can be provided for the day.

I could get the AW11 detailed, but i hate my rims (laquer is peeling off in spots) And i don't think i can afford a nicer set in time

But happy to bring her down, if you'd like me to. Will it require bay detailing, or just body?

Pete - definitely about time you got those wheels on your car, and got it out for me to have a look at.

Unfortunately, I can't promise SPIDA being ready in time, but things are moving and if it is, I'll definitely bring it down.

sounds like the south Perth foreskin is somewhat of a head fuck...maybe try Burswood...(big al's poker run is an event there)
or somewhere under the narrows in South Perth?
either way and which ever venue is chosen, i am definatly there in my AE92 Levin...possibly the Soarer will be done by then also..track car FTW
