Re RAC Driver Centre - certainly something to consider, will speak to you about your contacts in the coming week. I also like the idea of a "Navigation Event" - if anyone else is interested in helping me set one up, please let me know?

The extra location pics of Feral's MR2 are fantastic - I hope everyone takes the opportunity to grab similar shots over the next few weeks too. Remember, high resolution, large file sized shots are preferred so they retain detail when blown up on a "big screen".

yea, i called through kings park on the way to the event. wasnt many vehicles there at 7.35 am.

the club can organise an onroad rally with notes getting to a few places in Perth?
i've done this sort of thing in the classic challenge. it's awesome. but takes a lot of entry fee, public liabity etc.
paul does a good job. i was going to enter this year.

Yep, I would propose a public road nav rally - no closed offroad stuff for now. Participants would naturally be bound be the laws or the road, with the emphasis on selecting the correct route from two points, with questions at specifics distances to confirm their correct passage. I too have done this sort of thing for many "Road Touring Events" including Classic Challenge when it actually had a navigation component. A little bit of education on how to decipher the various types of maps used, an organised team of people to run the event, and a good finishing location with a BBQ/dinner at the end, makes a great way to spend a day with family/friends/cars.

In case you were wondering, the ordering is backwards. THANK YOU STUPID JAVA UPLOADER.

Following was cut: duplicates, blurry photos (although there were none from this photographer!), over/under exposed shots, photos with drivers next to car (available upon request!).

lets not get the Classic Challenge and a Family /fun/friends event mixed up here.
i think it would be a great social event for all of us to get together for a day of navagational challenges, such as " count how many traffic light poles down stirling hwy , starting from the toyota dealership to Eric st turn off " something along those lines.
i will put my hand up to lend a hand to Clint and others for this type of event.

It's OK guys - I've already put Chris in the "motorsport" fraternity - especially with his track MA70 hanging around waiting for another run in something - we'll get there Chris, and we look forward to your participation (especially considering the pic of your Z20 you gave me a few weeks ago, is now up on the TECCWA website too!).

Yep, thats cool - one of my primary goals for TECCWA is to try to offer something for everyone - I realise everyone will want something different out of it, so we'll grow to accomodate what we can - motorsport and social events alike.

Great turn out of Toyota models, pity I had to leave early but from what was there it was a great event. There were more than just a few cars that I would have liked to have had in my garage.
