Ok, first major hurdle - I've asked City of South Perth for permission to park the cars on the foreshore, as I really didn't want to get down there and find the access gate locked (and I'm not willing to take pot luck with it). Unfortunately, they will only consider a gathering like this with the provision of a Public Liability Policy. As TECCWA is still in development, the club doesn't have one yet, so I'm yet to solve this problem - but I will solve it.
I also want to stress - no funny stuff either on the grass, or on the way into and out of the photo shoot please guys, I would prefer that you don't even joke about it. This is after all a public thread on a public forum, and there's enough crap regarding "cars" going around of late, that I don't want to add fuel to the fire. At the end of the day I want to work with the council to reach a solution we're both happy with, so that it won't affect any future event we may wish to hold there (like a big Toyota show and shine in Easter 2011!?!).
Please placate me - drive slowly, give way to errant pedestrians and cyclists, wave and smile, and do the right thing on the day.
As for something unique eeeyan, I've got a lovely 1969 Toyota Crown wagon looking for a loving home!?!
Aurion Replacement
try this... would be a fitting replacement for the aurion i think..
Stomps

Not replacing it stomps keeping it just need a 2nd car shortly so might as well be something i can thrash if i want thinking something ugly with good mech much like my R30 was ugly as sin but great mechanicals. Now that i think about it Z20's are much like that
And i would have the upmost respect for the grass in south perth. And some good photos that i can use when it evetually comes sale time for the Aurion as well as probably the only one in the bunch!
