LANGLEY PARK, on Riverside Drive is pretty easily accessible - plenty of open space for cars and the city of perth is usually pretty good with all sorts of events being held there.
got swan river as a backdrop.
Might be an option?

At this stage and while I'm not CURRENTLY changing the event date, I may either choose to move the entire event to another date later in March or April, or split the actual individual photography up due to the numbers interested.

I'm having major dramas with The City of South Perth's requirement for Public Liability Insurance to have a number of cars in one location - at this stage I can't get it as a private entity, so that would require moving the venue. I do have a couple of alternate venues in mind, which still gives us the Perth City Skyline in the background - it simply means inconveniencing the public somewhat, which was one major point I was trying to avoid personally! I will keep the original thread post accurate, and personally notify all parties of any changes by PM - stay tuned!

Additonal to my PLI dilema, if anyone has an avenue to be able to provide coverage for this "social get together" please let me know. I am more than happy to rename, provide a detailed event schedule, and to some degree - bend over ready to be rogered, if it means the coverage needed is provided. I will also consider payment of a small fee (no, the quote of $700-1000 an insurance agent mused would be an appropriate fee for such coverage is not acceptable), if it means coverage can be provided for the day.

by the way, what are the actual photos going to be used for? Just for the website? or some sort of promo thing? Just for your own automotive porn archive?...
knowing what you are looking for will give an idea of wether someone's car is appropriate for the photoshoot or not I guess.

2010 will be a development and growth year for the club - I'm currently swimming in a sea of paperwork to set the club up for the long term. 2011 has some big plans on the horizon too.

The photos will be used to promote the club in a variety of different events and mediums. The reasoning behind asking for high resolution/large sized images, is to be able to use them in a background slideshow, to show others the cars and locations we have here in WA. I will also be gathering pics from other events, footage, and anything else that shows our club off to others, and I aim to show the best variety of cars and events that I can assemble together.
