    what i did with my bride which had the side mounts and some kind of s13 bracket (wasnt rails i think it bolted straight to the floor) was cut part of the bracket off to make it level. then i took the base of the standard seat off to get the rails and welded the bride bracket to the rails. im 6 foot and i fit in fine, im guessing the height to be almost identical as standard. so now i have the benifit of a fixed back bucket seat with the adjustability i need for the missus to drive me home when im pissed. win-win.

    I agree, am going through the engineering process at the moment and some PRIOR discussion would of been good.

    i welded mount s to my 86 rail, however sits too high for my liking so i'm going to have too make another one..........................i have been saying that for 3 months though!!! it's a very time consuming process you hav eto get seating posoition in relation to the centre of the steering whee l right and just general seating position!! it's a mission, something you only want to do once!!
