Keen to see how it turns out.
We've got a smaller pulley ordered for ours...should turn up this week.

Glenno, when your charger was imported, was it held up by customs at all? I got a letter today from customs saying they were holding it until the tariffs were paid.. [I] thought they were covered in the original shipping cost, but apparently not for me..

Yeah...had to pay for them to release it (forget how much).

Yeah damn straight! I just handed over an unexpected $600.45 in GST, Customs holding costs, and Import Tariffs, so I'll need to wait another fortnight now before I can afford to pay the poor guy who's going to tune the bloody thing... I paid the deposit a week ago, so now it'll be the week before ANZAC day that it gets done.. Bit of a waste of time, but there's nothing I can do... I guess it'll happen when it happens...

My apologies for it being so long!
Unfortunately I can't help you out with a dyno chart... I can however give you very good feedback after the new ECU and the charger have been tuned. The guys at LC gave me the wrong pulley so I'm only running 4psi at the moment, but I don't think I'll change it, I'm getting the power I want out of it anyway.
To be honest it's a bit of a pig to drive around town, it's too torquey in low first an second, but it's great on long drives!
Here's the write up I did for the 4WDaction forum..

So I'm back from Sydney now after taking the truck down on the weekend. Everything is going fairly smoothly now. The charger is in and fitted up nicely, and the ECU is in and has the basic tune going well. There are still a few issues I am having with the tune, but hopefully I'll have those worked out this week.

First is a bit of a rough idle. After I use max throttle, then stop soon after at lights etc, the engine idles rough, bouncing and coughing through 1100rpm and 700rpm.

Second, when starting the engine cold, the idle up isn't quite high enough, it meeds around 1300rpm I think but it's only using 900-1000rpm.

Third, the new fuel pump is a Vortech 200hP unit, but at idle and low speeds, it is audible outside and inside the cabin. It sounds like a mosquito and is very annoying so I'm going to see if I can get hold of a quieter unit, silence would be good!

Given that the Sprint 500 is a self learning module, the first 100km or so on the trip home were quite rough due to the engine having only spent 9 hours on the dyno with the new ECU, but one it got used to the low throttle cruise driving it settled down and the ride was fairly smooth from there on. With that came the fuel economy. On the trip down, I used almost a full tank of 98Octane for the 400km trip, however the trip back was much more economic. With the fuel remaining, I think I could probably get another 70-100km.

Of course, so far I haven't mentioned the power.. Oh the power!
Stacks of it, and it's everywhere, all through the rev range! 4th seems to have the widest power band, but all gears make the best power roughly between 2000 and 4500rpm. I think I will have knocked a good 4 seconds off my 0-100 time but as I never have it very accurately measured before the charger, I can't confirm this figure.

All of this said, the truck is now very much a cruiser or workhorse for towing, and it's a pig to drive in the city. It is most comfortable climbing impressive grades holding 2700rpm in 5th, or overtaking in 4th at 3000rpm. In fourth, above about 2500rpm, if I plant my foot, the truck leaps forward, and accelerates at a constant rate which is much quicker than ever before! However cruising around town, stopping and starting between traffic lights, it seems a little too torquey in 1st and second down low, and it's actually quite difficult to drive.

    Would I do it again?
To be perfectly honest, my thoughts at the moment are no. This may be subject to change as I've only had 8 hours behind the wheel and there are still a few issues that need ironing out.
But the way I am looking at it at the moment is the fact that the truck has now gone 260,000km, so I don't know how much life I may get out of it. It cost me a lot of money to do, and while the power gains are very impressive, I learnt to drive it before I had power to play with, and while it took me a little longer to get everywhere, I could have dealt with the pain and anger every time I had to shift to second to climb that big hill...
But like I said, as time goes on, I may change my mind, it's just that I haven't driven it enough yet to give an accurate appraisal!

Let me know if you have any questions!

    Cheers,

    Squid

try forgetting that you have first gear when driving in the city and just start off in second gear and see how that goes. i find that taking off in second gear in my diesel 80 series land cruiser to be easier then first gear a lot of the time as there is so much torque in my motor it doesnt notice its 2nd and not 1st

Hmm.. I might start doing that. It'll make the drive much smoother through town...

Just an update on the Supercharged Lux.... the TRD Supercharger has gone to a new home and we've put a restrictor in the Exhaust System

Only giveaway from the outside is this....But when making visual contact with the smile on the drivers face...you know something's going on

Still fiddling with things, but at present 150kw at the wheels (11psi). ( The best from the Supercharger was 118kw) That's about all we want as we want to keep it as reliable as possible.
Have not driven much yet as we still have to get some heat shielding in place, and the guy who tuned it is not completely satisfied with the RX7 injectors we put in because they only discharge from one spot where the originals are from 2 to feed the dual port head.
Only other issues are it's a bit of a pig till it warms up to normal operating temps. After that it's fine. Pulls really well from low revs to redline with no noticeable flat spots.
Really happy with it considering it's a fairly mild setup done on a tight budget.
The Engine has done 270,000km and hasn't been touched apart from the tappet cover taken off to paint that four letter word (Ford) blue
    Some Details;
Chinese Ceramic Ball Bearing T3/T4 Internal gate Turbo
    Chinese Intercooler
    Greddy Copy BOV
    Home Made Log Manifold
    2.5 inch Exhaust
    Haltech Sprint 500
    RX7 Injectors
    Pod Filter
    Standard Fuel Pump
    Standard everything else.
When it's all finished, i'll update these details and hopefully have a Dyno Chart for evidence.
