Default 1jzgte hydro pulley on 2jzgte pump

Hi all, the 1j water pump died so have embarked on the 2jzgte pump change to remove unused hydro setup.
Now the pulley, Toyota want more than the whole pump just for pulley. I am thinking of machining the 1j pulley to suit 2j. Has anyone done this before? My main question is if the belt will still line up.
I can lathe the center out to 58mm which currently is a internal tooth style with a single nut.
Also ill need to fill in the holes and redrill where the 4x bolts on the 2j need to be.

    Anyone tried?
    Thanks

Any reason why you couldn't just use a second hand pulley to suit?

So easy as pie.. Lathe centre of 1jzgte hydro to 58mm.. $20 at local engineering shop.

    Drill 2x holes 74mm PCD.

The other 2x holes will end up where there is the big arse weight reduction or something holes on the factory pulley.. Place 2x large washers over these holes, filing one side of the washer flat so it ends up more like a half moon shape. This is so it doesn't interfer with the spigot.

Bolt up and be happy that you saved yourself $150 odd bucks or had to trawl wrecking yards/forums.
