I cannot say enough thanks to all those involved in timing, organising, assisting and supporting. Without you guys, we would not be there... simple as that!

And big thanks to Ed, Slim, and anyone else involved in the shirts, caps and stickers. That really made a great weekend better, and I genuinely believe that the giant 'Classic' down the side of our cars actually changed a lot of peoples opinions of our rusty jap crap.

I was slack on the photo front... I just cant wait to see if anyone got a nice shot of my car stickered up out on the track (for the 10mins it was out there )

Sensational effort people. I'm looking forward to seeing photos of the two teams and their award winning presentation.

    Yay, I can finally post.

I had a great time at Winton. Thanks for everyone who came along and supported. I'm definitely up for it again next year.

I hope everyone had enough to eat and drink.

Not enough credit can go to those who spend the time on the wall doing timing, it is not a good job, but as teams we would be knackered without them. Our 2 people, Mark and Sam did a fantastic job and we can't thank them enough.

Our 12th was a disappointment, we only broke out 4 times for the whole team, which was big for us. We were a bit behind the 8 ball as we had pretty fast cars since they bought the maximum lap time up to 1.40 from 1,35 last year, a lot of fast cars were not allowed in and that meant that we were one of the faster teams. Our bloke in the Cobra was doing 1.40.05's on Saturday, but nominated 1.41. All the rest of us (all V8 assault) nominated 1.45's.

All this meant was that we had a lot of traffic to contend with so we found it really difficult to acheive our nominated lap times as we were running slow of it all the time. Something to mull over for next year,

Anyway blokes, it was good to see you all again - same time - same place next year.

What an awesome weekend!!! Huge effort by everyone. Outstanding effort to Alison, Ian, Slim and Ed you guys deserve a medal. oh wait u got a trophy thats close enough.
Whole vibe of the weekend was great, everyone pitching in and helping, i think we had everyone on deck stickering cars on both mornings, time consuming but so worth the end result. Drivers, u guys were awesome, the sight and sound of watching a celica fly past u down the straight is incredible. Managers i can understand if you guys wanna change your names now, they were both kinda overused. As for timers Em put in a huge amount of time at the wall, so did Slim and we even had Andrew, Joey and Georgia up lending a hand. We got the board sussed in the end, even tho i still vote for and etcha-sketch next year. Again good to put names to faces. Joel i may be slightly in love with your car too. Hopefully will get the purple beasty out on the track next year. Heres to Winton '10!!!

P.S Camping is awesome, ur all soft

.....well f__k me!!!.......I thought the stickering I saw on the Saturday was a good effort......man you guys went above and well beyond and it looks amazing.........one thing I got to say even though I played no part this year is to just say Thanks to Ian for getting this whole show off the ground each year.........it is testament to how much joy / excitement / tension it brings to everyone that without Ian putting in the foundations each year and sorting people out this kind of awesome weekend would in no way happen.........everyone looks like they had and awesome time and yeah I missed being out there but to now have 2 full teams with signage / apparel and a whole crew of people it certainly looks to be going from strength to strength. ...........(just got to find me a spare motor so I can do it again next year! )
