I feel your pain slim, had to change the whole ute over again for work last night and get stuff sorted. So wrecked, but shit it was fun driving out there, just gotta remember that!
Thanks to EVERYONE that made it all happen and thanks to foreign matter that like tasting timing belts![]()
R.I.P Peter Brock.

A big congrats to both teams, epsically to Team Classic Celica for coming in at 19th place.
Also a big congrats for winning Best Dressed Team!
Hey all, thanks for an awesome weekend! Was very impressive all the effort yous put into the event and making it run smoothly. Alison did amazing job keeping everything running.
We got home at 3.30am, not a lot worse than you guys!
Mike got some photos from various spots around the track which i'll post up later.
Was good to meet you all and put faces to names. Thanks for having me along!
Cheers
Joel
Good to hear you made it home Joel!
Thanks to the other celica guys (especially Shamo and Ed) for tackling all the final laps after the rest of our celica's expired, and doing this so consistantly. I probably contributed zippo to the lap count in the end
It was a shame to see Darryl's car end up like it did, but it is certainly repairable.
Comiserations to all those with mechanical gremlins, but a problem with a car, means another problem fixed![]()
Thanks for making the effort to come.
Race results.

Thanks all, especially John who spent all day in the sun doing timing for the Rising Sun boys. Massive commitment and most appreciated.
I had a great time and the little Corolla didn't miss a beat again! Made of tough stuff it is
I am completely knackered and have sore muscles where I don't ever remember having muscles!!
Congrats to Slim and Eddie for all the work on getting the Best Presented Award. Goes to show that you don't need $4000 worth of shirts to win eh Big Trev![]()
You got that right, the Pedders bloke keeps trying and I keep saying we need cars the same, sign written the same AND the same shirts to win, but he doesn't seem to get it, but by shit, our shirts were pretty damn good just the same.
They did look alright... it's just bad luck that the trophies say ours were better.
I'll write something more substantial this evening when i am not at work. It was a great weekend alround though. So many people put in a lot of effort and it wasn't just the normal crowd which i thought was particularly good.
For the Celica team the big helpers were obviously Alison for managing the team, Emma for the massive stint on the pit wall doing timing, Lauren for timing also, Trang and Georgia for keeping the crew fuelled up working the BBQ also Trang for volunteering as an official, Joey helped out in the pits throughout the day also. I'm sure i've forgotten someone because as usual it was such a hectic day with a thousand things happening at once.
The drivers did a great job as well... Andrew, Eddie, Joel, Oscar, Shamo and Tim. Particularly a great effort by Shamo for keeping the club car in one piece and doing some serious time out on the track in it.
