well ive gotta say, its been the best motorsport weekend ive been involved in EVER!!!

it was my first six hour, and i can safeley say it wont be the last. i recon we should start getting together a team for the 24 hour next easter!!! that would be an awesome challenge!

thanks to everyone envolved in the team for making it a very enjoyable experience. and i cant thank John (my dad) enough for hanging that pit board over the wall for 6 hours straight!!!!

also thanks to everyone with a camera. there are some amazing pics there!

looking forward to getting both rising sun and classic celica back together for the next one!!!!!

how does everyone feel about me doing a pantsless tyre change for december's photo? haha i have a feeling it will be a long time before i hear the last of that picture. On a serious note though, well done and thank you very much to everyone who participated, volunteered and even just came to watch. big cheers to our team managers for keeping us under control when we were running around like children, our chefs for keeping us fueled up, everyone who timed or wrote lap times and stopped that pesky barrier from floating away despite being in the sun all day long. It was fantastic to see everyone chipping in and lending a hand in anyway they could at just about any time day or night, and of course well done to everyone who was behind the wheel or behind the building of any of the cars, nevermind the few hiccups we had, i have high hopes for next year.

Ed and Slim in particular well done and thankyou for your excellent work on the stickers, shirts and hats, things like that really set us apart as a team from everyone else there and it defiantly shows with those shiny trophies. Also a big thanks to ian, tim, oscar, ed, slim and anyone else I have forgotten to mention for your persistance with the club car over the past few months, particularly ian for constantly calling to kick my ass into gear to get it ready in time.

I'm sure everyone would agree that every penny spent and every late night in the shed was well and truly worth it just for the experience I think we could of finished last and I would of still left with a smile on my face. I'm dead set on doing this again next year and rather keen on easter for the 24hour, if anyone else is interested perhaps we could pull a team together.

I believe that covers everything so I'm off to grab a beer, i think we all deserve one after this weekend.

Cheers, looking forward to seeing everyone again soon

Here is some in-car video I took with my new trusty Aldi $150 helmet cam (actually its an Oregon Scientific ATC-2K if any one wants to look it up). Have editted the footage so that you just see the "action", but the first two are still 10 minutes long each!

heres a quick video from last week before she had her tune, things get interesting around the 23second mark and my mate nearly loses his eyebrows.
