MX83 Grande Stereo Install

Well i have measurments and no pictures cause underground carparks and shitty camera phones sucks.

screw hole to screw hole = 183mm in length

Overall Length is 265mm
Front height is 43mm and rear height is 40mm

EDIT: looks to be within spec.

can you measure hole to hole

i put mine in ages ago, from memory one of the holes didnt line up but even with 1 screw it doesnt come out or anything. the unit is overall a bit larger but sits in just nice.

mine is a grande btw. and the pocket was like $6 from the wreckers

and u dont need the whole surround.

with the factory grande amplifier, could i wire in a sub or cd changer?

sub yes. just run high-low converters off the rear channel as the sub amp input

didnt know that Grunde had a amp, im still going to use the factory front sweaters... seem to be in good order still so what the hell

yeah it sits behind the stereo / ashtray and actually powers the headunit.

All i want to do is play burnt cd's. it only will play some. So i thought mayaswell stick in a spare sub / amp i have from the rolleder

i just got my new one on the road and stuck a couple of burnt cds in this morning and it spat them both out. breakfast radio sucks so bad!!

so ill either have to buy some new music or get off my ass and pull all the dvd shit out of the gold one and set it up in the new one before i go bonkers.
