Wire it to the power antenna output on the stezza.

Alternatively you wire it to the remote wire for the amp but it will go up when stezza on and down when stezza off.

Just finding the correct wire is the issue.

There is a thread about it on the Cressida forums - http://forums.toyotacressida.net/for...ad.php?t=42589

t's not so hard, just take your time so as not to break any clips or scratch anything.

Step 1: Remove trim around shifter.

Step 2: Remove trim under instrument cluster.

    Step 3: Remove sattelite controls.

Step 4: This comes out as a whole unit.

Step 5: Which is held in place by four 8mm bolts.

Step 6: The headunit is held in here. Most aftermarket headunits will have holes that will line up.

Here are the wiring colour codes:

    Power Connections
    Constant 12V+: Blue/Yellow
    Switched 12V+: Gray
    Ground : Brown
    Illumination : Green
    Antenna Trigger : Black/Red

    Front Speakers 5 1/4" Doors
    Left Front (+) ink
    Left Front (-) : Purple
    Right Front (+) :Light Green
    Right Front (-) : Blue
(If front tweeters fitted, colour is the same)

Rear Speakers 6 1/2" Rear Deck
    Left Rear (+) :Black
    Left Rear (-) : Yellow
    Right Rear (+) : Red
    Right Rear (-) : White

I can't find the info on how to make the standard elec. ariel work yet.
    And the electric aerial:

    Hope it helps.

that pic has the stereo controls??

or do you mean a din pocket that goes under/on top of a single din head unit?

apparently it isnt a direct replacement also, these a gap or some shit. i plan to remove the buttons and bog over the holes for them.. sand and paint etc too.

Yea i just had a look over on toy cress . net and it shows how not bolt in it is.

    Which is gayer than aids.

You have to replace the whole surround. Hmmm.

Nup, just need the pocket. I got a pocket for my GLX and is a direct pop in replacement for the GLX stereo controls.
