Thermos on MZ20 instead of hydro fan (which fans & how to)

hey guys,

does anyone know what thermos from another car could go in my brothers 1jz powred MZ20. reason i ask is because the water pump in his car has shit itself and needs to be replaced and becoz these hydro fan water pumps are so expensive we've decided to go the JZZ30 pump setup and run thermos.
So yeah if Au falcon ones are the go or whatever then please let me know, also how to wire it up to the temp sensor so that the thermos engage on there own.

Any help from the gurus out there would be gretaly appreciated

AU or EL thermo's are the one you want.
There is a HOW-TO thread on how to wire up thermo's.
Tridon make sensors for it.

What size were they? was it for a 1jzgte? and how much did u pay?

Just go and get AU thermos. RRP is about $280, trade is closer to $200.
They shit on any other thermos out there as a 'complete package'

And if the MZ20 radiator is the same size as an MA70 radiator then they fit perfectly.

A couple of hours worth of cutting plastic to make it fit sweet.
