Head Off -> Piston Head/Top Cleaning

I've had an endoscope ... not that endo scope tho, that's got another special name starting with colon. I gather they only put it down my guts, but I was under GA so they could have put it anywhere and I'd have been none the wiser. They sent me the video too, freaky clean in there it was!

both your under a GA, ive had both unfortunatly.


Be sure to block off oil galleries and such when you do the clean, last thing you want is some sort of dirty scummy serious business cleaner circulating through your oil/coolant.

Ive had a docter stick his finger up my bum, ive felt conflicted ever since.
On the topic of pistons the easiest way to get them shiny and new is to rev the car and slightly spray water into your intake manifold..Steam cleans very well....Thats the way they used to do it years ago.with the head off just borrow your mums steam cleaner works just the same with out the corrosive nature of other techniques

I just wanna know the benefit of a clean top/head vs getting hard bits into the ring lands???
