yes it's fine.. though somewhat pointless. it's still gonna blow eventually. there's only one way to fix a 7M properly.
I love these threads. They're cool!
indeed, i thought that this stuff was common knowledge already.

are the standard bolts capable of holding 76ft lbs....
Plus do you get the correct reading if your are torqueing something thats been torqued for 58ft lbs for years, unless you undo them all and do them again with cleaned and lubricated bolts??
do u get the correct reading?
DA-12-NV
A drop of oil under the head of the bolt can help. No, it's not going to be 100% accurate...
But neither is this conversion
what u mean by that?

DA 12NV : I would personally take all the bolts out clean it put lube on and torque it.
But before i do that i would take the exhaust and inlet mani off so that the weight wont lift the head (side to side)if you know what i men...You want to avoid any lifting of the head..i know for a fact that 7m has a dowl so theres not gonna be any side to side movement...
Alternatively you can crack all the bolts and torque it down but your taking a chance here..while making sure you follow the right sequence.
my opinion
