Find the right hose and suck on it? Or attach vacuum cleaner with plenty of duct-tape?

been playing with it this morn....the lock and everything around it does sweet fark all....like everything is badly out of adjustment

cant get the guard of due to the bolt behind the door, and cant get to the hinges from the wheel arch due to the design,

have sprayed/lubricated everything in the door lock that should move, and have also given it 125kgs of shoulder barging with no success......

BUT, i can get a hack saw blade between the exterior door jam, and try and cut the door catch........(which can be re-welded/repaired.....) though it is going to do a bit of damage to body.....but looking like my best option atm.......

its about now that i start punching shit and carrying on like a lil baby.......

so....i decided to cut a hole in the door.....and still, i cant get anything to budge....its like the lock is internally farked!... it locks and unlocks fine, but cant get it to release from the latch..... theres no tension on the release mech.......like its failed inside,

its about now, that i send it to the body shop, tell em to fit basic locks and shave the handles and fit a popper kit

    hey mate

i dont know if this can help but my 2 cs would be to try & cut the metal bar thats bolted to the car (between front & rear door) that the latch actually locks to if u can get in there
that way there is nothing holding the door closed & it should open & then just unbolt the bar u cut & find a second hand one

u cant get the door card off can u??

    thx

I once had to shorten one of these 12mm Kincrome hex bits with a hacksaw.

They're made of hardened steel. I went through 3 hacksaw blades and about 3 litres of sweat but i eventually cut through it.

My advice... HTFU and just do it!

Or as somebody mentioned before, pull the passenger catch mechanism out and see how it works aswell, that should give you an idea on what is worn out or failed on the drivers side then you'll know where to manipulate it with a screw driver to get it to let go.

    Good luck.

does that come with accommodation & meals?

how about a small grinder or go all out get a chainsaw

that is the best way i can see apart without touching the mechanics or going crazy

IN 05 NT + chainsaw = problem solved

    thx

milwaukee sawzall... as seen used to great effect here [long, but if you haven't read it, it's WELL worth it]

If you ever want to make something stop existing, the Milwaukee Sawzall is the tool. Oh, the satisfaction.

I will take it off your hands. It is clearly fucked beyond recognition.

I believe fitting an LS1 will cause the body to twist a little, thereby allowing you to open the door.

There'll some pissant spring in there that has broken. I don't recommend fucking the mechanism, certainly not without checking the parts from an MS65 are the same.

Get on to Supercrown - he just bought Gavatron's MS65 and is wrecking it so you might be able to buy a spare mechanism.
