looks like a very easy fix, well done.
I'm sure many people have a leaking BOV on their 2JZGTE.
I took my spare BOV apart to repair / recondition it. Here is how I did it.
I removed the lid to find that the material that should have existed to seal against the seat was missing completely!
I made a new seal for the seat out of an old inner tube and used silicone to hold it in place.
And I then re-assembled the unit. To enable me to secure the lid in place I modified the lid so that the section that folds over was little tabs as opposed to one continuous section (see below picture).
I also used to silicone during the re-assembly process to ensure that it didn't leak.

I dont have the vacc gauge with me atm, but I put a bike pump on the sucker and it sealed and popped ok, so I'm going with "it's tested and working". Seems reasonable.
