It will physically fit, it's just a major headache. The camry motor seems like a good option, I could probabally pick up a wrecked car at auction for bugger all. Any idea on the power of the different generations? I'll search for it when I have more time, but if anyone knows off the top of head...

cos he's in the frame of mind that everyone gets into every now and again...

even if 3SGTE is "better", it may not be good enough if what he really wants is a wheelstanding 1UZ monster

Yes and wheel stand it will with the weight of a 1UZ rear/mid mounted.

What I would like to see is him pull this off and then forced in duction this thing

1uz is an all alloy v8 and the weight is almost identical to that of a 3sg motor
    If in doubt power out

I was wondering about that actually...

If you want to be different, there's plenty of room at the front for a 4agze ;P

lol oops, for some reason I was thinking sw20.
In the AW11's case, I'd stick a 4efte at the front. Much smaller, and should give that little bit extra weight you need.

Are you saying front mount the engine? That would be a head fuck and half

Not really. It'd be easier if the front one was auto though.

Cut the bottom out, make up some mounts, borrow some front struts off a corolla, get some starlet/corolla driveshafts made up. Rig an extra couple of fuel lines from the central fuel tank. Splice into the cooling system, rig up some wiring, maybe with a second alternator. Add a second starter motor button, and bobs your uncle =P

Hahaa...now that's stoopid Although I've seen things like that done, most notably to mini jokes. I want the 1UZ, because I don't like turbo motors. Bigger NA motor is my favourite everytime, there's something more natural and nicer about them. Not after huge HP really...

so what you want is a supercharged 3S running about 1bar boost.. thats equivalent to 1UZ and retains much of the NA characteristic

go on a nice sprintex would be great

Hahaa..I see your point, but I'd still rather stay NA. IF nothing else, intercooling is a bastard. But I just like NA I'm warming to the idea of the camry motor...but I take it I'd need an SW20 gearbox...
