Have you checked it wasn't the steering lock clicking in? Its quite often the little things that get overlooked.

does any one have a list of toyota models that came with 4 pot calipers, may be a worthy research project.

just cause i like you guys http://users.on.net/~ndean/RA60_RNP_INTO_RA28.doc

Stepho too is where i got the idea but from chats with him he never finished it to the point of driving?

All measurements of toe and bump seem within 1mm.

Basically i had 1mm toe in one side and 1mm toe out the other when finally checked properly. Basically with a 'proper' wheel alignment im confident the angles are near perfect.

Rememberint this is using ra60 x-member / ra28 steer knuckels and then the hilux/pug combo.

Well the MS65 hubs definitely fit TT132 struts with no impact on offset, I measured it to be within 1mm. Now I just have to sort out the brakes, have SW20 MR2 fronts to play with.

hey fellas, here is what i have spent for the conversion so far with receipst:

    XT130 struts L & R (with two piston) $90
    - wheel bearings AKIT (2 x outter) $16
    - wheel bearings BKIT (2 x inner) $18
    - hub bearing seal (for L & R) $10
    Hilux calipers LN106 L & R (the one with fins) $150
    - genuine brake pad L & R DB1149 $80
    - caliper rebuild kit L & R $40
Peugot disc brake rotors vented 604 L & R (pick up monday) $140
    - machine down to 266mm (price on monday)
    - enlarge holes 1.5mm (price on monday)

Im just having problems removing the piston out of the hilux caliper for rebuild. I got 2 out using a flat head screw driver and levering it out, what is the best way in this procedure? or do i leave that to the pros?

    measured rt132 / 133 and xt130 hubs today.

xt130 and rt133 are the same from disc mounting face to hub face.

    rt132 is 3-4mm wider

    *CONFIRMED!*

The rt132 hubs are 3-4 mm wider diameter?? So they must sit past the rotor very slightly.

So does the holes still need to be filed on the rotor? Im assuming yes.

yes...holes need to be enlarged ever so slightly to accomodate.
FWIW my setup uses the TA22 spring (albeit a king spring lowered) with plenty suspension travel no issues.

Nay, not wider in diameter. Wider in offset. Ill find a picture a bit later, but the XT130 hub face lines up with the base of the ribs on the caliper, not the top of the ribs. It appears that the RT132 hub face will line up with the top of the ribs, or close to at least.
