FARK WHEN DID THEY GET 12v LED's?????

News to me! everytime i go in i stock up on 10k resistors cause they only have poofy 5v ones usually. Need to get some of these!

There ya go Mr 1jz, that LED plus an old biro with a nail in one end and a wire with alligator clip on the other = worlds cheapest noid light. Just like in school "my first continuity tester" project

EDIT: anyone else notice they spelt "resister" incorrectly in that jaycar link OC posted? still hiring noobs i spose

I have a test light that has an LED instead of a globe if you need it. Should work (hopefully)

in the end it was the crank angle sensor...

I have never ever heard of a 1 or 2J blowing a crank angle sensor...then again the ecu that was in it was fried to all buggery...blown resistors and circuits a plenty...

it is indeed sold, i am now the new owner.

car was running like a dream, at least until i was driving home on the highway outside of pt pirrie.
something else has cracked the shits, the check engine light has been flickering on and off, car is still running but like a bucket of snot. mega rich, coughing and popping randomly when the light flickers.

P.S. Matt, i manged to limp it home at 90kmh. backfired randomly, ran mega rich. im thinking perhaps MAP sensor but you said this has been replaced? its got to be some kind of sensor issue, the car seems to have no idea how much fuel to put in. doesnt seem like an ignition problem as it still runs 'smooth', at least when its not cutting out and backfiring anyway.

Hengsta, what is wrong with an access ECU?
